Women's Division II Post-Season

The 28th annual NCAA, Division II Women's Basketball Championship will be held in March, 2009.  Competition begins Friday, March 13 with games in each of eight regions.  Regional sites are to be determined.  Regional play continues Saturday, March 14 and Monday, March 16.

Each of the eight regional champions advance to the Elite Eight in San Antonio.  The Elite Eight begins Tuesday, March 24 and continues with national semifinals Wednesday, March 25.  The national championship game is Friday, March 27.

The Elite Eight is hosted by St. Mary's.
