The 26th annual NCAA, Division II Women's Basketball Championship will be held in March, 2007. Competition begins Friday, March 9 with games in each of eight regions. Regional sites are to be determined. Regional play continues Saturday, March 10 and Monday, March 12.
Each of the eight regional champions advance to the Elite Eight in Kearney, Neb.. The Elite Eight begins Wednesday, March 21 and continues with national semifinals Thursday, March 22. The national championship game is Saturday, March 24.
The Elite Eight is co-hosted by Nebraska-Kearney.
Selections for the 64-team field will be made at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST Sunday, March 4.
