Western Washington Coach Dolfo Wins 300th

ELLENSBURG, Wash. --- Forward Jodi Gerald scored a career-high 32 points, helping Western Washington coach Carmen Dolfo to her 300th career victory as the nationally-ranked Vikings rolled over Central Washington, 93-60, in a Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) women's basketball game Thursday, February 24 at Nicholson Pavilion.

The Vikings, ranked No.13 in the latest USA Today/ESPN/WBCA NCAA Division II women's basketball poll and second in the West Region, improved to 22-3 overall and 14-2 in the GNAC, one-half game behind league-leading Seattle Pacific.  The victory left Dolfo with a 300-108 record in her 14 seasons on the Western bench.

Western is at nationally No.4-ranked Seattle Pacific for a GNAC counter on Saturday (5 p.m.).  The Falcons, 22-2 overall and atop the league standings at 14-1, ran their home court winning streak to 27 with a 79-45 win over Seattle Thursday night.
