SPRINGFIELD, Mass.-Rosters for the Third Annual NABC/NCAA Division II All-Star Game to be held Friday, March 28 at the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame have been announced. Only 20 student-athletes and two coaches were selected for the prestigious event, held in conjunction with the NCAA Elite Eight.
The All-Star Game will match an East All-Star Team (with 10 student-athletes from the NCAA East, Northeast, South, and South Atlantic regions) against a West All-Star Team (with 10 student-athletes from the NCAA Great Lakes, North Central, South Central, and West regions).
The West All-Star Team consists of Cory Abercrombie (Pittsburg State), David Dreas (St. Cloud State), Jeff Fahnbulleh (Kentucky Wesleyan), Robert Lee (West Texas A&M), Vince Mosley (Gannon), Avery Patterson (Tarleton State), Devin Peal (Humboldt State), Paul Peterson (Brigham Young-Hawaii), Marlon Pierce (Cal State-San Bernardino) and Atila Santos (Minnesota State-Mankato). San Francisco State’s Bill Treseler will coach the West squad.
The East All-Star Team consists of Sean Barnette (Wingate), Jeremy Black (Tampa), Brad Byerson (Virginia Union), Steve Dagostino (St. Rose), Corey Diethorn (Assumption), Chris Gilliam (Pittsburgh-Johnstown), Charlie Parker (Millersville), Jonny Reibel (Rollins), Michael Sturns (Holy Family) and Ryan Williams (Pace). South Carolina-Aiken’s Vincent Alexander will coach the East team.
